Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Lease Mileage Tracker Pro (the "App"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and Dmitry Sobolev ("we," "us," or "Company"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Definitions

  • "App" means Lease Mileage Tracker Pro.
  • "Services" means features provided by the App, including local data storage, iCloud sync, charts, and projections.
  • "Third-Party Services" means Apple iCloud and Google AdMob.

3. License Grant & Restrictions

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to install and use the App on your iOS device, solely for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

  • Modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App.
  • Use the App for unlawful purposes or to infringe others' rights.
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the App.

4. User Accounts & Data

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials.
  • The App stores your odometer readings and usage data locally on your device. If you enable iCloud backup, your data will be stored in your iCloud account. We do not access or store your personal data on our servers unless you explicitly export or share it.

5. Third-Party Services

1. iCloud:

  • Sync and backup rely on your Apple ID and iCloud storage.
  • We have no visibility into your iCloud data beyond what you choose to share.

2. AdMob (Google):

  • We display ads via Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers (e.g. IDFA), advertising identifiers, and usage data to serve personalized ads.
  • To comply with Apple's App Tracking Transparency, we will request your permission before tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you deny permission, only non‑personalized ads will be shown.

6. Advertising & Analytics

  • The App uses Google's Mobile Ads SDK for advertising and may collect analytics data to improve your experience.
  • You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device's privacy settings or via the App's settings (where available).

7. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important. Our separate Privacy Policy explains in detail how we collect, use, and disclose information. By using the App, you also agree to the terms of that policy.

8. Disclaimers of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR‑FREE OPERATION, NOR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL) ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the App.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App and related Services at any time, with or without cause or notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your license ends and you must uninstall the App.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date and, where feasible, via an in‑App notice. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey (if you're in the U.S.) or your local jurisdiction if required. Any dispute arising under or relating in any way to these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, USA, unless you live elsewhere and local law mandates a different venue.
