3.1 Information You Provide

• Usage Data (Odometer Readings): When you enter your current mileage, that data is stored locally and—if you enable iCloud sync/backup—in your iCloud account.
• Ad Tracking Consent: If you consent to App Tracking Transparency prompts, we collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) solely to enable personalized ads via Google AdMob.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Analytics & Crash Reports: We may collect anonymous technical data (e.g. app version, device type, iOS version, crash logs) to improve performance.
• Advertising Identifiers: Google AdMob may collect your IDFA or similar identifiers for ad personalization.

3.3 Third‑Party Data

• iCloud: Your mileage entries are synced via your Apple ID—Apple may process that data under its own privacy policies; we do not see your iCloud credentials or raw data.
• Google AdMob: AdMob may collect usage and device data per its Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

4. How We Use Your Information

• App Functionality: To store and display your mileage history and charts.
• Synchronization: To back up and sync your data across your devices via iCloud.
• Advertising: To deliver personalized or non‑personalized ads through Google AdMob, depending on your consent.
• Analytics & Improvement: To monitor performance, diagnose issues, and optimize the user experience.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

• Service Providers:
  • Apple: For iCloud storage and sync.
  • Google: For AdMob ads and Google Analytics for Firebase (if enabled).
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
• No Other Sharing: We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

6. Your Choices & Rights

• Ad Tracking Opt‑Out:
  • On iOS: Go to Settings → Privacy → Tracking and disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track."
  • In‑App (where available): Disable personalized ads in Settings.
• Access & Deletion: You may view, correct, or delete your mileage entries at any time within the App; to remove data from iCloud, disable backup or delete the App's data in iCloud settings.
• Analytics Opt‑Out: Disable "Share Analytics" under your device's Privacy settings if you wish to opt out of anonymous usage data.

7. Data Retention

We retain your local and iCloud‑synced data as long as you use the App. You may delete your data at any time by deleting the App or via in‑App controls (if implemented).

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from users under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us to have it deleted.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to such transfers in compliance with applicable law.

10. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

• We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we do, we will:

• Where feasible, notify you via in‑App notice.
